The bible teaches in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.   Forgiveness of sins is however freely available to all through Jesus Christ whose righteousness God has declared for the remission of sins. (Romans 3:25)

         This is very important because God has commanded all men and women every where to repent because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness. (Acts 17:30)

         Romans 10:9-10 teaches that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
